Marketplace Intercession & Ministry

…Restoring the kingdom of God in the marketplace for the transformation of lives, businesses, and communities.

The Marketplace Ministry of IHOP- Knoxville is made up of prophetic intercessors and people who have been, or currently are business leaders, and business owners who are committed to pray for and give prophetic counsel and input to businesses, business owners, business leaders, and their families. We are also moving toward networking with marketplace ministers throughout the country, with a view to releasing the kingdom of God in the culture, the community, and the economy. This ministry is established to help business owners and executives encounter the Lord in a deeper way by offering prophetic revelation of the specific purposes of God in the marketplace.

Presently, we see this ministry fulfilling the following:

• Releasing the transforming grace of God within the world of commerce to bring redemption and righteousness to the business community.
• Establishing new businesses, and strengthening existing businesses for the kingdom of God.
• By supporting businesses through prophetic intercessory input and biblically based advice, we expect Marketplace ministry to provide financial resources to support ministries focused on the arts, education, reconciliation, worship, intercession, mercy and evangelism which will open the way for community and regional transformation.
• These resources will also provide a financial base for the International House of Prayer Knoxville and its associated ministries.

Marketplace Prayer Watch

If you are an intercessor, employee, or business owner, you are invited to come and pray for the kingdom of God to manifest throughout the marketplace in East TN. Each Friday morning from 10 AM - 12 Noon, the IHOP – Knox will pray for the marketplace in our cities, our region, and our state. We are passionate about seeing God move in the marketplace and standing with those on the “front lines” in jobs and businesses everywhere. The format will be intercessory worship (harp & bowl) as well as a time of prayer for individual needs.
